Hospitality Restaurants now offers a smoke-free dining experience.
ROCKY RIVER, OH February 18, 2004 — Beginning in 2004, all Hospitality Restaurants (Blue Point Grille, The Cabin Club, and Salmon Dave’s Pacific Grille) will adopt a smoke-free dining room policy. This move comes as a response to an ever-increasing demand for non-smoking seating at all our fine dining restaurants.
“Guests have increasingly continued to tell us that they prefer a smoke-free dining experience — even those diners who do smoke. We have seen it steadily moving in that direction,” reported George Schindler the group’s spokesperson and one of three managing partners. To accommodate guests who smoke, Hospitality Restaurants will still permit cigarette smoking in the barroom.
In addition to accommodating customers, a smoke-free dining room is — excuse the pun, a breath of fresh air for Hospitality’s employees, too. Servers have said they welcome the change, and look forward to seeing the new policy in place. Dave Hale, the Director of Operations, thinks the company’s smoking policy will also improve the working environment for their over 200 employees. “Recruiting and retaining the very best employees has always been the key factor to our success,” says Hale. “I strongly endorse any move that provides a better place to work for our people.”
Hospitality Restaurants, locally owned and operated for more than 15 years, has three fine dining establishments in the Greater Cleveland area including: Blue Point Grille in the Warehouse District, The Cabin Club in Westlake, and Salmon Dave’s Pacific Grille overlooking the Metro Parks in Rocky River.
