(Seattle, WA. December 4th 2002) Based on confirmed reservation counts from one year ago, Savvydiner.com predicts members of it's 500 restaurant Concierge Reservation web site will enjoy a successful 2002 Holiday Season. Confirmed reservation counts act as a barometer for what up scale restaurants should expect in the critical weeks that make up the last part of the 4th quarter.

In October 2002, the familiar reservation site, used primarily by active business travelers, booked confirmed covers of 8135 compared to 4752 covers during the same period in 2001. "It's been a challenging year for all of us but these increases suggest up-scale dining is still a priority for our users", says Willis Olson, CEO of Savvydiner.com.

For November 2002, the Savvydiner.com confirmed cover count totaled 8379 compared with 4203 confirmed covers of November 2001. "Our most productive clients are those such as The Palm Restaurant Group which use Savvydiner.com as the Concierge Reservation Service on their proprietary site www.thepalm.com", states Olson.

As a veteran restaurant-marketing consultant, Olson has advised up-scale dining clients since 1987. "The concept of Savvydiner.com grew out of our business which we established to give Hotel Concierges' the professional tools they needed to advise travelers of a cities best and most popular restaurants", explained Olson. Although the on-line restaurant reservation and marketing space has seen several well-funded and high visibility companies fold, Olson feels he knows why SavvyDiner.com still exist. "Our clients like the fact that we book our reservations by telephone and they don't need to install additional equipment to use our service". Savvydiner.com is also a resource used by many CVB's (Convention and Visitors Bureau's) and CMP (Certified Meeting Planners) as a method for incoming travelers to reserve a table. In most major convention cities having a table reserved prior to arrival is essential.

Olson is confident of Savvydiner.com's prospects in December as well. "Our bookings for confirmed covers and large parties are way above 2001 and that's such a relief for all of us".
